Revenge - Audio book

Audiobookreviewer.com  -  All I could think about while reading this was the old adage - revenge is a dish served-up best cold ---- however, your book would have been served-up best ANYTIME!

I thought the characters were well developed and complete. I thought the plot line and twists were well executed as well. I enjoyed the dueling between Will and the Inspector - you developed that very well.  I thought the narrator did an excellent job.  Spoke clearly and projected the emotions of the characters and story accurately and believably.

Great plot -this was my first audio book and I was not disappointed. Well narrated and a plot with plenty of twists and turns to keep you listening. Although I have not read the author's first book it didn't matter and it was easy to follow and easy to visualize the characters and settings.

Revenge

Cracking good read - Thoroughly enjoyed the latest from NS Brooks, it's an intriguing, twisty tale set in the Highlands. Had me guessing until the end. A cracking read.

Excellent thriller - A real page turner. This is the second book of this author and he develops the characters and the plot with great skill. Fantastic descriptions. Can't wait for the next book.

Exceptional sequel - N S Brooks did not disappoint with his much anticipated sequel to Betrayed. Revenge went above and beyond, with exquisite descriptions of the Scottish scenery, a mystery that kept me turning pages and in suspense until the very end.

Most enjoyable - With beautiful descriptions of Scotland & a riveting plot to equal his first novel this is an excellent read.I am looking forward to Will Slater returning in his next novel.

Another very good read - Overall I found it enjoyable and a light read which encouraged me to continue reading to follow the story to the end. The author is captivating in his delivery of the characters who develop nicely as they progress through the story from their start in Betrayed to the end of Revenge. Not an easy task but one which has been mastered. I'm looking forward to the next adventure.

Excellent - This is a great second novel by NS Brooks. It is cleverly-plotted and fast-paced, and I was gripped throughout. It was thoroughly enjoyable, and I look forward to the next!

A new star is born - Can't wait for the next book to turn up. Gripping page turner from cover to cover - you wont be disappointed if you like Ian Rankin or James Patterson - just buy it.

Recommended - I very much enjoyed this novel and have recommended it to my book club. I found especially interesting the colourful descriptions and history of various locations . The author had obviously put much research into this and I'm looking forward to his next book.
